Hello! My name is Kalee DeHamer and I am a Japanese-American multiethnic storyboard artist currently looking for storyboard artist and revisionist positions.
I have a passion for storytelling and I strive to create narratives that are full of heart, meaning, and diverse, unique characters. I am a strong advocate of the idea that humans are messy, multifaceted, flawed, beautiful beings and I think that should be reflected in the shows we make. I believe that through animation, one can spread acceptance, love, and knowledge.
A little bit about me:
I love my dog, Yoda. He is, objectively, the cutest dog. I am a passionate Dungeons & Dragons player and my character's backstory will make you cry. I enjoy swimming in the ocean on hot summer days, spending time with my family and friends, Broadway musicals, singing, and chocolate pudding with sliced bananas.
